These photographs trace the momentum of desire. This momentum is
present in the precise degree of light allowed; desire is present in
the precise degree of focus. Glover lights from within. She creates
the colours: bone white, carmine, the stain of raspberries, flesh,
ochre, blue-black satin. She controls the degree of concealment. The
necessity of concealment is expressed in the moment of revelation.
